  • Q: Is Quality Construction Ltd qualified and licensed to carry out building work?

    A: Yes, we have been building for over 37 years. We have received several House of the Year awards, and we are members of the Master Builders Association.   • Q: Are you able to provide a guarantee?

    A: Yes, we provide the 10 Years Master Build Guarantee, which can be purchased by you for home extensions, renovations, and new home builds. We are more than happy to help you with preparing the guarantee application forms but we ask our clients to take out and pay the guarantee fee directly to the provider.   • Q: Do you have insurances in place that will protect me?

    A: Yes, we carry and keep relevant insurance policies with State Insurance, and we will happily go through all the policies with you to see if other policies are needed.

  • Q: What type of building work do you carry out?

    A: We carry out all types of residential building work including new home builds, extensions, additions, renovations, building repairs and maintenance work. Plus, hard landscaping and external renovations work such as decks, fences, driveways, retaining walls, pergolas etc.

  • Q: I see that you provide your own custom designs and plans but will you work from my own set of plans?

    A: Yes, we do provide a full design and build service, but we will also build from plans prepared by others.

  • Q: Do I need to have a written contract?

    A: It is best practice to have all agreements in writing, no matter how big or small the project is. By law, all building projects costing over $30,000 (including GST) require a written contract. We use the comprehensive Master Builders set of contracts designed to protect all parties.

  • Q: Can I source my own products?

    A: Yes, we will be happy for you to source your own fixtures, and if needed we will be happy to offer advice on your selections. Please note that we can only guarantee or provide warranties for fixtures and components we supply.

  • Q: Are you available over my ideal timeframe?

    A: We ask our clients about their ideal timeframe and we do our best to accommodate this.

  • Q: How do I go about applying for a Building Consent?

    A: You can always prepare the application by yourself, however if needed, we are happy to manage this on your behalf. You will need to pay the consent fees to the council directly.
